This Very Impressive Project will certainly move you!
The event was the VIP Grand Opening Party of the Edmonton International Airport’s new terminal.
We needed a unique and one of a kind gift for dignitaries to commemorate this milestone event. The gift needed to emphasize an ‘arts’ theme that would complement the art displays featured in the new wing.
Tereena Morelli from Islay Agencies was on a mission to find something that would be memorable and have an Edmonton artistic flavor. After endless hours of brainstorming she commissioned Kalvanna Studios of Edmonton to create two custom, and hand crafted Glass Mold Plates. The pieces were made by local Edmonton artisans and were reflective of pieces of art that were already on display at the EIA.
The hot melt glass pieces are in vibrant colors and images reflective of Edmonton’s River Valley and Jasper National Park. Authentic, original and truly fine works of art.
